Old Florida Celebration of the Arts
Cedar Key, Fl
April 28 - 29, 2012

Here is me at Cedar Key.  Thankfully the photographer for the art association came by before my skin had really started glistening.  It was a hot one for sure, but a great weekend.  Our hotel room was just a few steps from my booth, the weather was gorgeous, and the people were there to support the arts.  I met some awesome folks - both patrons and artists.  I was admiring another artist's beautiful watercolors, and he gave me a print.  When I got back to my day job the following week, I was admiring the water color I had purchased a number of years ago, which is hanging on the wall behind my desk, and lo and behold it was the same artist  - Gene Rizzo.  Check out his work - he is a fantastic watercolorist.  And I met another new friend - Mary May Witte - a fellow acrylic painter.  She won best in 2D at the show,  and she was gracious enough to exchange paintings with me.  She is an awesome lady and great artist, and I look forward to our new friendship.  I sold quite a few paintings to people who really loved them, and I acquired two new pieces of art.    It was a really good weekend.
